Hi anyone,im new here and im starting to upgrade my old gen 2 marauder,im im look for a valve stem and inlet upgrade,i saw a vid on youtube,but i i cant find that upgrade anywhere

IMO the valve is great as it is. It suits a stock marauder very well. I’ve had a poppet fail but that was after about 20K rounds.

BUMP on HILL VALVE! Yet the factory valve can be worked and a MH poppit spring. The Hill valve increases the fps easy. JMO
The Marauder is a good working platform for a powerhouse gun. So many options and mods available. Easy platform to work on. Bottle mod makes for more stored air volume. The main thing on the Marauder is a good barrel. The Green mountain in .25 was IMO a good barrel. In the .177 the factory barrel was good in the ones I have had but the LW barrel is hard to beat. Regulated is also a good upgrade but non regulated works for full power. Not had the .22?

I have 2 Hill valves, 2 WAR cobra valves and a factory valve that I drilled the exhaust throat to .160 and put a Hill 6# valve spring in. They are all good valves. I regulate everything so I'm not sure how they would do without being regulated. I've also had a first gen War valve and a first gen JSAR valve they were ok but did not work out for me. Oh yeah I also had a Cothran powerhouse valve but ended up going with something a little more manageable. My 22 with the modified factory valve gets 40 shots around 26-27 fpe with the hades pellets. Good luck beefing your rifle up.

no more cobra valves …. out of business currently, JSAR has no time to produce the balanced valve ! but we do have Tim Hill !!! his valve works well ! ive had them all in my mrod regulated , the tim hill works well, I wish we could get the nylon hammers with brass insert from JSAR, with Tim Hills lightest hammer spring , that's in my gun and is sweet smooth easy cocking with free flight space even with a stock end cap. but I do have a JSAR twin spring end cap in my mrod, , it has the most adjustment with a nice locking set screw to keep your adjustment from changing , but Tim Hill hammer springs are short enough to allow for free flight using your stock end cap spring adjustment, and if every one took care of you as well as Tim Hill does you would see more people with big smiles on their faces!!! Tim Hill has been awesome helping me! cant beat Tim Hill !!!!!!
