Benjamin marauder semi auto sticking charging handle

The charging handle is sticking on my semi auto marauder .When the mag is empty and I pull the charging handle back to remove it's hard to pull back. It takes a lot of effort to get it back. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and what they did to correct it

This is an easy fix...

The plastic ball in the charge handle gets " mis-shaped " during gun breakin ...

I was told a steel pin on the bolt pointed down, that interconnects with the charging handle. Hammers the receiver and mushrooms the receiver. Pinching charging handle.
