Benjamin Marauder still leaking

Shot 20 shots yesterday. Checked fill fitting, gauge adapter, and tightened the gauge 45 degrees more. Pumped back to 3,000 PSI. Well this AM gauge reads 2,300 PSI. Time to send it back?

Remove the shroud, Put a balloon over the barrel, secure it w rubber bands. Only other place to leak is thru the valve. You could have a nicked oring on the valve or fill adapter too but im thinking its a valve stem.

45 minutes into balloon test on barrel (shroud removed), balloon still not showing any leak.

If you are going to do a re-seal it’s a great time to go ahead and add a de-pinger and/or other upgrade parts as well.

Use a spray bottle with soapy water, don't worry about rust, wd spray will get rid of any excess moisture, let us know what you find, i have the worst luck sending for repair, avoid if possible.

Talked to Ted at Airgun Depot today. He recommended returning it for replacement. Already dropped off at UPS on their dime. Customer service gets 5 stars.
