Benjamin Thumb Rest Mod

This sure makes it easier to cock it. Painted flat black.

AGR has a machined thumb rest in black oxide that takes blue nicely. Maybe a little more finished looking than a hex head bolt for the OCD types out there.

A belt sander will work too, if so inclined to round it out. I just took the sharp edges off.

I was not being critical, in fact, I have the bolt you suggested on my shopping list, thank you. I will not use my bench top belt sander to do anything other than smooth off the top surface. I think I will hit buy now ;). I want black oxide, that way I can blue them.

My .25 M-Rod Gen 1, AGR thumb rest, AGR, hybrid reservoir tube, AGR SSG, modded custom valve, bottle brush depinger, Maple Customs single loader.

On a side note, I tried the Boyds stocks like those, have several Boyds on PBs. But the M-Rod just sits so high there was no cheek weld at all, more like a chin weld or no weld, how do you get along with them?
