Buy the Challenger OEM trigger group direct from Crosman and the Benjamin Break barrel trigger guard I forget which one it was its been a while but only few bucks no need to modify the stock. Or 3d print or sheet metal one. Don't wanna butcher the stock if the guns still under warranty or get a spare stock to mod if you opt for the integral Challenger trigger guard.

Perhaps off topic but you guys seem to know a lot about the Maximus; will a Discovery stock fit on my Maximus? I would love to get a Boyd stock for it - I think that would improve accuracy more than a new trigger. Thanks!

Yes it will. 
A Fortitude will drop right into a disco stock as well.

I would search posts for Boyd’s stocks and Discos, Fortitude or Maximus. Several posts from members not feeling the gun feels better with a Boyd’s stock. I like Boyd’s stocks and have 2 of them on powder burners but in neither case did they improve accuracy. Adding a adjustable cheek rest to the Maximus stock will add a lot to consistent check weld. A Challenger trigger group is the best improvement you can make to the Maximus either for offhand or bench shooting.

I would imagine that since the Disco has a wood stock there wouldn’t be enough improvement but a wider laminate instead of the toy like plastic stock on the Maximus on a rest or bags is going to help ME shoot more accurate. The best trigger in the world won’t overcome the deficiency in a wobbly, rolling stock.

Nice looking stock. Have you weighed it to see how much weight it added to the gun? Anything has to weigh more than a Maximus stock.

No, I haven’t weighed it, but it feels much better. Laminate stocks aren’t really that heavy. There is something that I can’t wrap my old mind around-the poi changed when I swapped stocks. Thankfully, I just made adjustments and it shooting better than ever.

It’s a Boyd’s (Spike Camp).

Spike camp the model? Did you have to do much modifications?

Yes the Spike Camp model. No mods at all. Take the safety out, unscrew the one stock screw and swap right out. That was my concern since it’s for a Discovery but it fits perfectly.
