because those by design As I understood threads about the ART barrels are PELLET barrels and as such the narrow head bearing surface and soft skirt of a pellet far easier shift shape to match bore.

This exactly matches my limited experience so far.I must admit that Im a bit confused from the answers
The upside is that the LW barrels seems to perform very well in many configurations.
Mainly shooting 16 gr slugs I do believe that the unchoked version would be better. And with Daystate using the polygonal barrel this might be the one that I choose.
Regarding the choke used in the ART barrel I cant imagine that it is similar to the stock barrel from LW. I strongly believe that theirs are made with certain costum specifications, so having to choose between a choke that might be tighter that the one Engfred mentions and an unchoked barrel that will fit a heavier slug better, it will probably be polygonal without choke
