Best Airgun ?

So I’m looking into getting another gun, I have a challenger pro in 25 but it’s just not as accurate as I’d like. The cheap barrels they put on these things just can’t keep up.

I really have my eyes on the v3 (vulcan 3) but I wanted to put it out there before I ordered. For the same price range ( sub 1600 usd ), what else should I be considering ?

Let’s hear it!

Oh man, This thread is gonna go awhile. "best" is different for everybody, depending on what you value and your intended uses.

Taipan Veteran....That was easy!
This suggestion is interesting though. The Vet is a gun that came out 6 or 8 years ago, the previous version a couple years prior. So, relatively old tech. They've got no army of paid influencers. No advertising. No retail store paying shooters to use them, no "Team Veteran." And no changes have been made in that 6-8ish years. Yet, on any given day, a guy can jump on AGN and see at least one active thread on the Veteran, typically chock full of members extolling their virtues. Now, like the gun, don't like the gun, can't stand the rear-cocking or blocky looks, but the scenario I just described is telling, especially in an industry where "old" dies off quick and guys are perpetually chasing the latest greatest.

Kind of why I did it also, I know this is going to go on forever lol

Vulcan 3 is an excellent rifle, but depends on the purpose.

You may not say that a hammer is better of a screw driver.

What use you want to give to the rifle?
So I want to hunt, and target shoot, I have property and shoot everyday. Want something reliable, and rigid. .30 with a good range to it, I hunt anything up to bigger coyotes. Out to ranges of 125 sometimes 150+ yards. So main points are reliability , not single shot, rigid, capable of good accuracy at long distances.

Then go for the Vulcan 3 in .30 Cal.

Last week I harvest a white tailed deer and a wild turkey with it.

But keep in mind the barrel 700 is not a CZ then it will shot like a champ pellets but not slugs.

If you want to shoot also slugs, then go for the 500 mm That is a CZ.
