Best Airgun ?

Then go for the Vulcan 3 in .30 Cal.

Last week I harvest a white tailed deer and a wild turkey with it.

But keep in mind the barrel 700 is not a CZ then it will shot like a champ pellets but not slugs.

If you want to shoot also slugs, then go for the 500 mm That is a CZ.
Are the uragan 2 700mm barrels, alfa Precision to..? I'm thinking on going for one..but if not cz I don't... my uragan 1 in .30 shoot flawless.

RTI Prophet 1 either Compact or Standard in .30. The 600mm LW barrel would be easier to generate power with. The 400mm LW if distance for yotes was kept between 50-75yds. Easily tuned with the externally adjustable reg. FWIW and IMO, head shots on something like a coyote at 100+ yards isn’t the best idea.
I’ve been hearing to go v3 over prophet .

I have a Uragan .25 and an RPI P1 with a .30 barrel. To be honest I like them both. I would not like to be forced to pick one over the other! As others have said, the RTI is highly tunable - and straightforward to do so - but the Uragan is a straight load and shoot! Both are accurate as hell! I have a Huma regulator I will install in my Uragan to make it a bit more tunable, but I have not done so because "it aint broke and I don't want to fix it!"

So I’m looking into getting another gun, I have a challenger pro in 25 but it’s just not as accurate as I’d like. The cheap barrels they put on these things just can’t keep up.

I really have my eyes on the v3 (vulcan 3) but I wanted to put it out there before I ordered. For the same price range ( sub 1600 usd ), what else should I be considering ?

Let’s hear it!
All depends. I got different rifles for different things I’m trying to accomplish. Id think about what you’re wanting it to do and then start research based of that.

The best airgun doesn't exist yet. Best would be a laser accurate super powerful air efficient belt fed mini gun... with multiple quick change caliber options. Oh... lightweight too, and has a cloaking device built in so the squirrels don't see you.

Ridiculous! The best airgun is the best!

I just don't know which one it might be. But it has to exist, provided we have objective criteria that linearly ranks airguns.

What's ridiculous is all these "best or vs" threads that constantly pop up on here. Hence my "ridiculous" comment.

It was satire, a joke, an exaggeration...

Why you may ask? Because anyone planning on a 125 yard shot on a coyote with a friggin air rifle is just asking to get flamed BUT most of the guys on here are very nice and didn't flat out say it's UNETHICAL. 30 cal or not, 50 cal or not, it's too far of a shot in my opinion and probably most of us on here.

Can it be done? Sure. If the coyote isn't moving and no wind... and you're friggin Davey Crockett. On larger game like a yote or small deer, you wanna limit your range like you would a crossbow. I wouldn't push a 30 cal air rifle past 75 yards for a coyote. Some of these guys get pretty big and they are very fast and have superb reflexes and vision/hearing. They sit still less than a squirrel during rut.

If you can't get into an ethical range to hunt the game you are after, get better at stalking or covering your scent, or do the right thing and use the proper tool for the job.

I just bought my first, the Impact M3, it looks cool...😎

Best for the money: Avenger Wood .22

Best for accuracy: #1 Daystate .22 Red Wolf, #2 FX M3 / ...many others come close to the M3 accuracy...pretty much any $1600- $2000 gun will shoot as good as an M3. RAW/Prophet/other FX models/AGT Uragans,Vulcans/Cricket Tacticals/Daystates...all the same.... -Nate @ Airgun Channel

For sure the Vulcan 3. 700 barrel is CZ. I mailed AGT about this and all the 2022 guns have CZ barrels and no more Alfa precision.

ok, not trying to be a wise guy, but the 700 mm barrels from AGT are now all unchoked CZ barrels, before the war in Ukraine they were Alpha Precision barrels, but since the restrictions on trade imposed by the EU on Russia, AGT uses CZ barrels now, as AP barrels are russian.
The 700 mm barrels are both good for pellets and slug, they are unchoked. The shorter barrels are all choked, thus less suited for slugs.

My experience:

My Vulcan 3 700 mm .30 Cal is extremely accurate with pellets but not so accurate with the slugs I have available (NSA 43.8 grain). For sure my rifle has the AP barrel beacuse it is of the very first on the market.

My Vulcan 3 500 mm .177 Cal is extremely accurate with both pellets and the slugs I have available (NSA 12.5 grain).

Is good to know than now all AGT rifles come now with the CZ barrel.
