notos if you want a pistol or a pistol with a stock.. 24-28 regulated shots per fill.. but if you want a actual rifle could go with the umarex gauntlet SL model or the avenger.. I have a liberty that is very similar to the avenger and it gets as I remember around 60 shots per fill and mine is good out to 160 yards..
I don't think you can go wrong with the notos.. here's a picture of mine.. I shortened the barrel and recrown, and put a 3d printed moderator in the shroud.. it's more accurate and quiet than factory.. and just under 16 inches long.

How did shortening the barrel make it more accurate?

I don't know, I assume that it was just right.. maybe a poor factory crown? I just know from shooting it that it shot a tighter group..
I'd assume also that it has a choke from the factory, and I know it doesn't have one now.. but I'd assume also that it would be more accurate with a choke as long as it has a good crown.

All good advice. I'll throw my hat in the ring. For the budget listed I'd say the Stoeger line would have a top spot. I've got the Ranger and the Bullshark ,both in
.22. I 've had the Gauntlet 2 ,the Bullvenger ,Hatsan FlashPup ( 1st PCP, good but gone now) and have a 1st generation Avenger. I'd say the Stoeger ,once the barrel is cleaned will hold it's own OR surpass any that I've mentioned . Better trigger by far out of the box. It is running "warm" so 18=20+pellets are preferred
Safety & manometer is something some bring up , but not an issue. It can be adjusted & tuned a bit if wanted, but I consider it a set & forget gun to shoot & hit
with ! I have a couple med/high tier guns & Stoegers will hang right with them & a 5yr replacement warranty. Check out AirgunRevisions.

Scout and 2 Bullshaks here.
I truly believe they ( Snowpeak ) represent great dollar per performance pcp air guns. 5 year warranty as you said. ••

They are easy to shoot well and are well made. Can’t say enough good about them. No issues with any of them for me

•• Stoegers have 5 year
