Fresh squished boiled eggs lure flies in like crazy where I live in arid Arizona. We splatted thousands of them this spring.

When I worked in a communications job years ago, certain times of the year there were bee flies that would congregate on the mountain tops. They are almost as big as a bumblebee but are a fly. We would carry match pistols and when they would hover, try to pop them. Not a huge success rate but gratifying to hear the pop when you got it right.

The wife and I would sit on the patio in the shade and shoot paper wasps for hours sometimes with an FWB65 and RWS mod 10. Tons of fun, too. I hate wasps.

Flies, moths, any kind of bees or spiders that get in the man cave are fair game! I was using a Desert Eagle airsoft 6mm made in the Philippines. Then I bought a Crosman Stinger P311 6mm made for Game Face and they all either split or will hang out around the desk or monitor. They do seem to learn in 1-2 generations. Darn it. Just when I get a better pistol with matching ammo. And a couple speed loaders to boot...
