FX Best Bullpup .30 under $2500 Wildcat vs Ghost vs krait. Or Panthera

Currently looking to order my first high-end Air Rifle. Budget for Rifle is $2500 , for Rifle alone. I've owned Air rifles all my life. I've owned all the top high end paintball markers from 2002 until present day. Comfortable doing repairs. But obviously the more reliable the better . Just a little insight into my past experience.
One other option would be the Airmaks Krait. Mainly would be shooting 40 yards or se. Squirrels, Raccoon, anything that could be taken with fur bearers license in PA. But I want to be able to take those long shots when possible. First purchase will be the worst due to having to buy compressor. So looking to make it count.
It's very hard to tell off of YouTube who really likes the rifles, versus who's a paid *****. Clearly most of the content creators are getting the gear for free, and they will not say anything negative. Clearly Fx seems to be top dog, and have the most sales and marketing. I think all the top brands look good, and appear to be all good. Which is the most reliable? Accurate? I'm looking at .30 caliber , and 600mm barrels, and want carbon fiber tank

Here is something I have looked at a couple times but don’t like the scope.

Or the price. Might as well buy new. I personally wouldn’t want 600 mm and 700 in same caliber. Mostly redundant. End of the day you have a mk3 used for 1900. Ummm. No.

Consider a 22 or 25 cal Brocock (BRK) Ghost or American Air Arms EVOL 22 Mini.

Both of these have great range, durable barrels and efficient on air for hunters.

I have had an Impact 30 and a Wildcat 25....The impact would have POI changes while out hunting and it has a lot of O rings in it. The wildcat was an MKII compact but it was accurate. I could get maybe 2 - 3 magazines before needing air, but it was a 50 yard and in rifle because of the very short barrel. A great truck gun for sure.

I no longer have the Impact or the Wildcat and have a couple of Ghosts....1 is a 30 cal and it is a hammer!!!! I compete with this rifle so it is staying as is.....The other ghost gets the barrel changes. I have a 22 carbine barrel (17 inch) and a 177 HP barrel. (23 inch) A lot of birds have been downed with the little 22 carbine out to about 100 yards using 18 grainers. I am currently working on the 177 barrel for slugs......

For me my favorite hunting pellet is a 25 cal. You can use the 25 grain or the 34 grain depending on which rifle you buy. I had a 25 cal Crown and it was my favorite rifle for hunting.....One day I will get a 25 cal barrel kit for my ghost, but right now I am happy with what I have.

I have shot the EVOL also and Tom makes a very good rifle for sure. He does not make a 25 cal yet.

So you think the ghost is a better platform is why you switched to it? I have been wanting a wildcat MK3 bt for a while, then I wanted a ghost and now I am back to wanting the wildcat, lol. Just seems to me that FX has a more mature environment for their rifles.

You can’t go wrong with either maker…It’s the Ford vs Chevy debate, but in PCP’s. I’ve had both Ford’s and Chevy’s. I‘ve had FX, Daystate, BRK, and a few others. For me I give the nod to the Ghost Platform….

The beauty of this hobby, there are choices for many outstanding PCP’s out there. You just have to find the one you like the best and serves the purpose you want it for. The ghost is the platform I like the best so far.

10 shots from a 25 ghost @ 100 yds the wind picked up while shooting cause for the drift. I have a 177 hp ghost that I’ve shot all summer if ft and I’ve also retired my red wolf if that says anything. The ghost is much more trouble free and more consistent than the m3 though i still have an m3 for pushing slugs and only shoot pellets thru the ghost for the most part because they shoot them so well. If you want to shoot pellets get the ghost if you have a need to shoot slugs get a m3 and accept the occasional miss

What about Skout, former paintball manufacturer with reported amazing customer service based out of PA?

Should also look at the RTI prophet. It can do easy caliber changes and has many features like a FX but without the very thin externally rifled barrel (neat FX feature but perhaps leads to POI changes from minor bumps).

Or you could go for a SPA gun, a lower priced gun, and get 2 or 3 for the same money. I have P35s in 177, 22, and 25 caliber and together they were less than $1500. They are accurate and reliable. I am not saying they are equivalent to the guns you are considering, just that they are a viable alternative. There is also a M60B that Air Archery Fun sells for less than $600 with an aluminum bottle, more for carbon fiber. Heavier but longer barrel too - more like an Impact.
