I'm biased towards towards the Kalibrgun Crickets, not only because they are deadly accurate, but I just love the magazine system and the fact that it holds 12 pellets in .25 cal , and 14 pellets in .22 cal.

I have my .22 cal power tuned for the Redsigned 25 grain JSB's at 885 fps for 44 ft pounds of energy. Don't really have a need for the .25 cal since I can get over 40 fpe in .22 cal?

Rear cocking doesn't bother me one bit and I actually prefer it from a bench rested position.

If I needed a .25 or .30 for hunting I would look into the fully air actuated semi automatic Evanix Max Air from Travis at Jefferson State.

My vote is for the taipan veteran. I have the .25 standard and I have not 1 complaint about it. Best trigger I’ve felt on an air rifle, anti double feed, really quiet with a mod, accurate as can be, comfortable to shoot, and I know some will disagree but I really love the looks of it especially with the black stock. One big selling factor to them is the lack of complaints across the internet.

You asked about the Gladius and Bullboss. My first PCP was a 25 cal Gladius. It was a dependable, accurate, great gun. I mainly hunt with my guns and felt that the Gladius was a little heavy. Really, I just wanted an excuse to try a different gun. I now have a Taipan and a Wildcat. Wonderful guns but the Gladius is hard to beat for the value.

I hunt with a friend that shoots a Bullboss. He does just as good as I do.

A sling would be the ticket, the kind that the air rifle will be in front for quick action

The FX Wildcat .25 is the easiest gun to shoot accurately off hand I've ever shot, I would give it a good look, many consider the Impact to be the gold standard, these two would get my vote, I chose the Wildcat and never looked back.

Sweet, the more research I do on the Cricket the more I am licking it. I was looking at the power tuned ones from Georgia AirGuns. I hear good things about the cricket and like what I see, and the video shooting the coyote with a Cricket and using 38 Gr Hollow Point, slugs, thats nice.

Personally, I have a Wildcat, 2 Taipans, and a Vulcan. All of them are sweet in their own ways. But since you're leaning towards a Vulcan,

I'll share a picture of mine just to stir the pot a little :D

It's been trouble free for 1.5 years and 5,000 pellets and counting.

They are sweet, what suppressor is on them? I like those a lot.

Best bullpup really isn't a bullpup. It's the FX Impact. No trigger linkages, cocking right above the trigger, but has the bullpup size and configuration. It's light, and you don't have to worry about scratching up that beautiful stock 'cause there isn't any.

That hasn't been my experience. FX, considering the number of guns they sell, does pretty well in the QC department. A few vocal owners that had issues have surfaced, but all things considered, it's an excellent gun out of the box. Expectations are extremely high, for the most part, FX lives up to that.
