Best C02 Cartridge?

I’m curious to know if there is such a thing as a “best c02 cartridge.” I have decided, after speaking with those running our air pistol match at my club, to purchase a c02 pistol. Is there a brand of cartridge that is better than others or doesn’t it matter?

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed a meaningful difference between various brands. The only thing that comes to mind is some have a nose that is easier or harder to puncture.

Personally, I have tried quite a few different co2 cartridges and I don't see any performance difference. I buy the least expensive at the time.

Same here. CO2 is just a gas. I’ve been getting the 40 packs from Crosman for quite a while and they work fine in all my pistols.

In terms of a recommendation, IMO, there’s not a lot of really good ones out there right now. If you really want something awesome get a Mac1 LD with a LW barrel. I have one in .20 and it’s very accurate.

Whatever cartridges that are on sale, are the best. I shoot a lot of C02 guns, never noticed any difference between brands. The Crosman 40 packs seem to consistently be the most affordable whether I buy them locally, or online.
