Best diameter slugs for .25 FX heavy slug liner?

But seriously just looking for input on what's working best for you guys. Just picked up a King synthetic with 600 mm heavy slug liner and haven't had any good weather to get out shoot it much. Factory tune it's spitting hybrids at 1040 and accuracy is pretty good at 50 but I'm thinking about stepping up to around 34 grain and doing some tuning! I'm not much of a target shooter mostly hunting and pesting. So before I order more slugs what's the scoop?

I shoot the .250 H&N 40gr heavy slug from my DRS and M3 700mm superior slug liner at 980fps. Both rifles shoot MOA out to 200 yards

I don't care to shoot .25 unless it's my only option, but in my experience and based on all the threads I've read on here .250 is the one to go for.

Was digging through my stash today and found a box of the older NSA 33.5 from before the automation machinery at NSA!
Now that I know .250 is the ticket I'll order a few different brands of ammo including what you suggested! Once sorted out the squirrels are in deep s##t!

Try some of the Varmint Knocker slugs, he makes them in 30gr, 32.8gr, 34gr, 36gr, 40gr, 45gr, 47gr and 47BT. He can also make you sample bags of 50ct.
