I am waiting on a FX Dreamline clasic and I am wondering what everyone thinks is the best and why.

Best for what? Purpose determines what works best.
I like my Impact in .25, shoots 1 moa groups at 75 yards with no problems. Great for bench shooting, but I don't typically hunt, so maybe the Wildcat or Maverick are better to hunt, I really don't know. Just depends.

The FX Dreamline classic is the best .25 rifle. Why? Because that’s what you ordered and no sense getting put into a tailspin now. All guns can make you happy and all guns can make you very unhappy. But a simple gun is easier to diagnose and get you back on the happy trail again.

What "Vetmx" said. You'll probably love it once it's broken in. Like my Royale 500 (.25), the Dreamline is one of their more basic, out-of-the-box shooters & will most likely deliver the goods. Don't worry about the thousand other opinions you're likely to get & just enjoy the one you ordered. I shot a very respectable 247 on my first & only competition shoot using a Streamline I borrowed 5 minutes before! Streamline & Dreamline are very similar.

Yours sounds like a good choice to start with. Live it, learn it, know it. Then go from there.

I have one in .22 and love it. I don’t need more than .22 for pesting as I worry about collateral damage when I miss. Also the .25 is much longer than the .22 especially when you add a moderator.

Well the Impact is their top of the line gun so why would it not be the best?
All of their guns are quite accurate.
Some are very versatile as well.
But the Impact goes a step further with the versatility and easy tuning abilities
Add to that the highest powered gun. The Maverick is near there.
And last but not least look at the shot count its just huge.
So, it definitely gets my vote.

Just different features and price points.

I ordered the dreamline because it looks like a hunting rifle. I will be hunting/posting more than anything else. I just wanted to hear what everyone thought of what they have. I think accuracy is most important for clean kills. Thankyou for the replies.

when the DL first came out, it was a bit anemic in .25, but they seem to be rocking now with the power plenum, transfer port, etc.

Yep, Dreamline for hunting, but may want a barrel band. (check it black arts, they should have a nice barrel band for it). Impact for power, crown for precision.

There is no such thing only what is best for YOU only you can answer the "Why". I don't like the impact and shoot left so the Maverick is out and I prefer long guns anyway so I got .25 DL Classic and put it into a Aeron BR stock and it's awesome plus I got a Royale 500 in BP laminate. Is one better than the other? No they are just different. DL is super versatile and you can configure it many ways and the Aeron and ST chassis are great option for them.

Lisamike92 I know but I'm on the waiting list. I k ow you get what you wait for but I want it now. I have 2 .25 cal mods and want something that shoots better and easier to tune.
