Best Moderator for Wester Airguns Sidewinder

Don't spend your hard earned $$ on inefficient after-market moderators that don't even fit the gun. Do like me, go get a pipe insulation foam at home depot and cut into slices that fit tightly into the grooves of the baffle. I insist, you have to cut the foam larger than the groove so that they fit really tight.
And the effect is DRAMATIC! It does make the gun backyard friendly! For $5!

Mine is a .30 Cal and the final assembly is exactly as before installing the foam.

I love the gun but I need the cash for my new business. If you try, you will just fall in love. It is very accurate and air efficient. And full auto is so freaking fun. It pays me to sell it but that's life.

The foam is a great idea. I'm going to try this on my Sidewinder and Rattler.

Make sure the foam is cut large enough to be really tight in the grooves and they will dramatically reduce the bark.

The end cap is tightly screwed to the baffle, see my pictures above, you gotta twist it to open.

Try this:
Grab the carbon fibre barrel shroud with one hand. Grab the carbon fibre moderator with the other hand. pull your hands outward while gently twisting the moderator. If you can just get it to break slightly free, the endcap will unscrew easily. Sometimes, a pair of those rubbery grip gloves helps.

i tried getting the upper cap using a rubber pad, having a really good grip
but still could not open it
There is any other way to get it to twist?

I found trying to twist the cap was a waste of time. I did get it by twisting the carbon fiber moderator cover first, then the end cap. If that doesn't work, some type of spanner in the slots in the front of the end cap.
