Best options for professional Air Arms S510 Regulator Installation

I have an Air Arms S510 .22 that is a real tack driver. Even though it is now several years old and has had thousands of pellets through it, and even though I have gotten by fine with an unregulated gun to this point, after experiencing the benefits of a regulated rifle, I think I would like to have a regulator installed in this rifle.

I do a lot of work on my rifles myself, but after looking at what is involved to install a regulator, I think I would rather send it to a real expert that has installed many regulators, rather than screw it up myself.

Is there anyone out there that provides this service that can really be trusted, within the continental U.S.?

Thanks and happy new year to all.......

No the regulator by Altaros is 1/2 hr install , nd do drilling of hole for regulator ,Here is Link I did one on mine and I hve done 3 for friends it is very easy and no problems better string and way more shots per fill and with ataro you read tank pressure not reg pressure , you dont want one which shows reg pressure here is unit you want

this is brand I like best for AirArms , if you said FX or SPA or edgun I would of said HUMA

ALSO the reg in S-510 is definable worth the price you will love it , I set mine at 120 bar and I am 910fps with jsb 18 gr deadly at 50 yard one ragged hole

Too much of a power sacrifice with the altaros .... IMO

Also UNVENTED regulators drift with tank pressure as clearly shown.

I install & sell HuMa regulators for Air Arms, also can do some porting work and lighten hammer for lower air use w/o giving up much power.

I'm out west in California ...

Now you know of at least one tuner who can, sorry I've not personally used anyone for reg install.

Not too long ago a new AA air tube was $80.00 and they drill easily. Naturally for best performance you want the spring rate matched to your reg psi but removing the hammer spring is one bolt. You might consider watching a video.

Bdzjlj, I would go with Motorhead. He knows his stuff when it comes to regulating guns. He's helped and guided me on a couple of projects. To do it right there's more involved than just dropping in a regulator. He'll more than likely have to reduce the hammer weight, possibly make it breath easier and make a few other tweaks. I've personally regulated a AA Carbine and it turned out great but if I had a few bucks I'd just send it off to Scott if i knew then what I know now.
