I have tried a lot of different scope cams and still own a Tacticam, Side-Shot Mount and a Skoped Cam Mount. The last 2 will hold a phone. But, what I tend to use the most, and works best for me is the ATN 4K Pro scope, and here's why...
The two phone mounts work well, but take a lot of fiddling to get them dial in. Of the 2, I feel the Side-Shot is the better mount. It is much sturdier and you don't need to buy a new case mounts from Skoped Cam everytime you change phones!
The Side-Shot mounts more secure and is less likely to get out of alignment if bumped. If you purchase extra mounts, it becomes much easier to move from gun to gun.
The Tacticam takes great videos, but again, it takes a little fiddling to get everything set up. It comes with different sized spacers, so it's easier to move from one rifle to another. But, I have a huge issue with glare if the sun is anywhere behind you while filming. I have remedied this by covering my head and the eyepiece of the scope with a towel, but that's not real practical if out are out in the woods!
For about the same money, or a tad bit more, you can get a Refurbished ATN 4K Pro direct from ATN and not have any of the above mentioned issues. You can save profiles, so it's easy to zero it for several different guns and just pull up a saved profile when you swap it to another. It has one shot zero, which I love because zeroing it is now super easy! It's made for large bore hunting rifles, so recoil is not an issue, in fact, it has recoil activated record, so you don't even have to press the record button before taking a shot! Just set it for recoil activated record and when you take a shot it records from 5-15 seconds before the shot and up to a minute after, so it automatically captures all the action. This feature works on springers and some PCP's with heavy hammer springs, but it doesn't work on all PCP's because some just don't have any recoil! You also get the added benefit of night vision, something none of the others offer, unless your phone has that capability.
There is one downside to the ATN 4K Pro, it's large and heavy! But if that doesn't bother you then it's definately a good scope for capturing video. And, for peace of mind, the Refurbished ATN scopes have the same 3 year warranty as their new scopes. Two of the three ATN scopes I have are refurbished and of the three, the only one that ever gave me an issue was the one I purchased new! But, it was replaced under warranty and has been trouble free ever since.
This was probably way more info than you needed, but I felt I should share my experience with a few of the current offereings and my thoughts on them.
