Best scopes for close range?

Hi everyone,

I couldn't seem to find this question; I apologize if I'm asking something that's already been addressed many times!

I'm using both a Benjamin Marauder .25 and a Benjamin Discovery .22 Most of my shots are as close as 5 yards, up to about 25 yards, and I'm confused as to which scope will give me a clear picture at those ranges. I'd like a scope that gives me the largest picture, and I don't care about weight, but preferably under $250. I'm looking to get extremely accurate shots on such targets as pest birds, squirrels, etc.

I see that Aeon scopes are recommended a lot, but exactly which ones would be appropriate? Names & models of scopes, please, and thanks for any help!

25 yards is not much of a shot, It seems like your looking for a scope that will focus in very close. The leapers/UTG bugbuster is the first to come to mind. They focus in very close, like 3 yards at the lower power range 3x9x32, also a 4 and 6 strait power under 100.00. CenterPoint 4x16 Heavy 5 yards? side focus never owned one. Tasco 2.5X10 50.00 range 5-7 yard focus. Sniper 4x16 among other models, (65.00) front AO, believe it's same glass as centerpoint. Disco with a BB and a 12 yard zero shoots nicely out to 30 yards plus with out much compensation. medium rings put the scope about 1.5" over the barrel. 4 of my friends went this route. A marauder with the Aeon 30 mmm tube and FX no limit mounts sits about 2.35"over the barrel, not your best choice, nor need for close shots.
