Best set up for shooting slugs

I’m shooting 34.9 nsa @ 925 out of the stx in my m3 getting 1” groups @ 100 yds 130 bar 2nd reg and almost 2 mags. Turn hammer spg and bumper down a bit and shoot 33.9 pellets same speed and reg 1” @ 100 yds. 600 mm barrel 580 bottle. My gun started life as a 25 compact added 600 mm barrel , bottle and air marksman rail and that’s it. With pellets I do get 2 full mags

The Taipan Veteran is known to be a solid platform, howbeit not very popular, especially for slugs. I feel like I hit the jackpot, though, because the 700mm CZ barrel that I installed on mine liked the second slug variety that I tried in it....2165" NSA 24.8 grainers.

They are doing sub 1/2" groups at 50 meters. From what I've read it's pretty uncommon to achieve that performance so quickly and so I'm going to settle with these and leave it alone. No more tweaking something that's this good...feed it air and lead and have some fun!
