Best Slug for Leshiy 2 .25 Cal

I recently acquired a Leshiy 2 .25 and tried multiple slugs (not pellets) and two seem to stand out, ZAN .253 Cal 38gr and the JSB Knock Out 33.5gr, which is a .251 Cal. The problem with the latter is that they fall out of the mag, and the former is a bit too tight but still shoots well. Does anyone know if there is a great .252 Cal slug? That would be the perfect cal for the Leshiy 2.

If the knockouts are shooting well, they make a “slug” magazine that has slightly tighter tolerances than the original to help retain slugs. You’ve had better luck than I. I couldn’t find a slug that had good accuracy past 50yds
Yeah I know they have those mags but for the price I'd rather have two more mags that can shoot high quality slugs

The slugs stay in while the mag is in the gun. If you load the mag in the gun, you should be fine using those knockouts. It’s when you want to keep a spare mag ready to go that it becomes an issue.
Honestly, I’ve always considered the leshiy 2 as a close proximity gun, and while slugs do work, they aren’t really needed in close quarters. Slugs shine used 100yds plus due to retention of energy and wind bucking abilities. Neither of those give me issues inside 75yds which is what I use the leshiy for.

NSA makes 2 slugs in .254 specifically sized for the Leshiy 2 bore and newer style mags (will not fit the original red aluminum mags). Your mags look like the newer style so the .254 size should work.
Also, I understand there are 2 styles of 33.5gr JSB KO in .25, the originals and the MKII. The MKII has a pronounced skirt that I suspect may fit the L2 mags better than the originals (I have not personally tried it yet).

In my backyard, I have installed targets at 25, 40, 60, and 92 yards, and I practice with different guns. I just bought a used Leshiy 2 with 350mm barrel and as I always do with my other guns I go for hollow point slugs rather than pellets, because I also happen to shoot up to 200 yards with my guns, that is why I don't wanna bother with a pellet. Surprisingly, at 92 yards, the grouping I get from the Leshiy 2 with a 350mm barrel with Zan .254 cal 38gr slugs is really good. That said, you are right, the L2 is a close-quarter gun, that's why I have a red dot and a 5x magnifier on my gun.

Just tested NSA .254 38.5gr, AVS .254 42gr, ZAN .253 38gr, three slugs and JSB HADES .25 26.54gr out of my Leshiy 2 350mm barrel (thoroughly cleaned for this test) at 56 yards resting on bipods and the Zan slug has the best grouping with all the shots within 1 inch followed by the NSA with 1.5 inch spread and the HADES with 2 inch spread and the AVS with 2.5 inch spread. Here is the velocity of each ammo: AVS 693 FPS, ZAN 736 FPS, HADES 856 FPS. The chrono went out of battery so I could not measure the NSA but it should be the same as the ZAN.

The .254 33.6 shoot just as well as Kings out of my L2 with no change in tune. 250mm, and the slugs are going prettt slow, fwiw.

I have a suspicion low 700s is a bit too slow for the NSA 38.5gr, my gun likes it at around 825-850fps but I have a 450mm barrel. Perhaps crank up the power a little or try the the 33.6gr version at the same power?
825 to 850 fps with the stock reg pressure? I just ordered a 450mm barrel cuz stretching it by 100mm increases the velocity by 14% according to Edgun guys. My objective is to shoot a 38gr at around 900fps.

Reg pressure is meaningless without knowing the jet sizes.
I'm currently shooting the 38gr NSA slug from my 450mm barrel at 825fps with the reg set to 125bar using 0.2mm and 0.4mm jets. I think this combo is pretty efficient for heavier pellets/slugs in this barrel and I'm getting very consistent speeds and great accuracy with it.
I figure 150-160bar would get you 900fps with these jets. I haven't tested accuracy at these speeds, I'm happy with what I have here.
