best suppressor for a Benjamin Marauder semiauto ??

Tim makes a great moderator for the Marauder. I use the shroud/mod combo and love it. One piece so no adapter and is far enough from the fill cap to easily fill. My marauder did not play well with donny’s stuff until I upgraded the barrel band and removed the baffles, but many others have not had that problem. I have Donny’s on everything else though.

Tim also makes a longer shroud w extra baffles that works very very well for a stock marauder and is lighter. IMO the longer shroud was quieter on a stock mrod, but not nearly enough for his upgraded power kit.

not sure but i 'would' be sure its specifically for the semiauto or its likely to interfere with the action .. i know donnyfl was working one up for the blitz with this guy on youtube, at least in that rifle my take is it just reduces the reliability of the action, so .. without looking into it be sure whatever you get is vetted for the sa so to speak, or youll wind up with an expensive paperweight lol ..

+1

I have the Hill 8 threaded to a Hill short shroud and a second DonnyFL Ronin .30 with adapter threaded to a Hill short shroud. Both are great and look great. Both are quiet as they can be, internals in the two Marauders are different so I’d say it would be unfair for me to say if one was quieter than the other. I have swapped them back and forth before but didn’t pay much attention, just left them where they sounded best.

Or… the beginning of an unexpected new build… lol

I do not think that an afternarket moderator will interfere with the cycling of the action. The engineer's made the semi auto work on the "extra" hammer bounce. I have ported my SAM to get more air flow through the valve and transfer port and increased speed doing so. It has not had one jam or anything else of the sort. It shoots 14.3 or 15.89 grain pellets equally well, though still not as fast as I expected given the advertised fps numbers from them and YouTubers, hence the desire to port it and experiment.

Thank you all for the info ... I have been a traditional bowhunter for over 50 years and my knowledge of archery is very good, now all my bowhunting buddies are giving up the sport and I am starting a new hobby, pellet guns. So much to learn and sooo many choices. I have watched so many YouTube vids my eyeballs are about to fall out.

Best to you all, and thanks !
