Why bash center point? I've used their scope with for years and have no problem. Glass is clear and hold zero just fine. Just cause it's not your $500+ scope don't make it cheap Chinese crap. I have a mtc viper pro that cost $650. And says on the scope, Also made is China. Glass on center point is just as clear as glass on a $650 mtc scope.

I think it’s an ingenious way to find the keyhole. That it can adjust paralex to a few inches is amazing 😉. People get bored need something to criticize. I bet there are some shooters out there like yourself who are happy with their Center Points.

I have a CenterPoint 4x16. Here is my review of it. I bought an Athlon Argos 6x24 that replaced the Hawke Vantage on my Wilcat. The Hawke replaced the CenterPoint on my R10. The CenterPoint is going to replace the UTG on my AT44. A UTG is going on my Nova (after I fix a leak).

Eventually I will get a nicer scope for the R10 (she deserves it). Then the trickle down will happen again.

This sucks. 😆 see, I agree with Both groups of enthusiasts here. I don’t care for CP all that much. But, the one I received with my second hand .25 Marauder held a zero like a visegrip. The PoI shift was crazy though. 9.5” down and right! And that was between 4 powers. Lol now, I’m on that Discovery train. I have bought two and sold two family members on them. So four scopes in just my family. Not counting the ones my buddy Jim W. (Jim’s funhuntingbirds) owns and the other team members.

CP, Leapers, UTG, all great for spring gun testing.

I have a Leapers 1.25x4x20 with 6 mils each way from center crosshairs. It’s a thin reticle & I know this rifle & scope well enough to hit a sparrow out to 60 yards on any power & further at times. It’s on a tiny 7 ft lb EL Gamo 300 tuned by John T.

The reticle, with its mils has me happy. I was going to put a Weaver K 2.5 on it but the mils are needed.

I’d stopped in to google “clearest glass on scopes under $1800 & go on down to the SWFA $299.00

Best scopes I ever shot through were Bushnell’s from Japan & I’m told SWFA is better.

We all broke into this sport at some point. Some came in at the center.

I have scopes that range from bundled packages from Crosman/Centerpoint(2-8x/4-16x), to mid-range scopes like Athlon ARES, to higher end scopes like Athlon Cronus and Vortex Razor Gen 2. Surely, there's no doubt that the glass and turret quality goes up along with the price, but there is a place for bundled scopes like Centerpoint or UTG. My Crosman/Centerpoint bundles(break barrel and PCP) came with scope, rings, scope covers ready to be mounted. It got my son and I shooting on the same day.

In the 4 years we have had it, our bundled Centerpoints 2-8x/4-16x scope has held zero, gave no issues and has taken countless pests, both small and medium game, both in the day and night. It's obviously not like my higher end Vortex or Athlon, but it does its job.

Would I mount the 4-16x Centerpoint on my Impact X or W.A.R Flex? No if I had my current choices of scopes to choose from, but in a pinch, I bet the CenterPoint 4-16x scope would still put pellet on pellet at 30 yards with any of my higher end PCP rifles...
