Damn! Now I know why I can't find any 20 caliber ammo.Yep you'll have to order them, but then again, if you want good high quality ammo that will match that fine gun, you're ordering your ammo anyway.View attachment 368043

I'm another "nothing locally" unless it's Crosman, Gamo or Daisy and definitely nothing locally in .20. Yep, I have to order online, but with now 9 rifles in .20 caliber, I don't mind.I’m not against a 20 cal. Just never seen any pellets locally.
Just don’t want a 177 what I have already. Ready for something new and harder hitting.
Walmart and possibly Acadmey sports. Both of which will have a limited selection.Athens Georgia has no stores selling pellets ? Amazing.
If buying rifle from AoA place order by phone and get pellets same time. Ask for their recommendations regarding different weight/style. 4 or 5 tins should ship free with rifle. Placing whole order online will incur shipping charges. Pick your(rifles) favorite pellet and order 5 to 10 tins at a time there after.I’m having to order my pellets anyway so guess it doesn’t matter.
While on the subject, where is the best place to order pellets from? Have seen some at various online stores but shipping kinda killed it for 1-2 tins.

My post is self explanatory. I'll try to break it down for you. Four(4) or five(5) different pellet weights and/or types(dome, wadcutter, ect) purchased with rifle to check grouping. Test various pellets to see which group best at desired shooting distance. Purchase which ever pellet was the best performing(grouping) pellet in quantity(5-10 tins) on next order."Pick your(rifles) favorite pellet and order 5 to 10 tins at a time there after."
If he dont have or ever shot the rifle yet how u do dat? Also how do some guy at aoa know ? I need to learn that stuff.

Then if you order stuff with the gun the guns cost already gives or should give you free shipping all in the order ?
Reread my post. Regarding extra tins of pellets: Yes if by phone. No if online. Simple."Then if you order stuff with the gun the guns cost already gives or should give you free shipping all in the order ?"
Ill have to ask them about that . Sounds kinda suspect. So i order a gun and stuff online is different pricing and charges then exactly the same order on phone ? InterestingReread my post. Regarding extra tins of pellets: Yes if by phone. No if online. Simple.
Well they dont promote a free shipping thing i can see. Nothing like you spend 150$ free shipping or nothing..I think that he is saying that if you throw some pellets in on the order over the phone, they don't gank you on extra shipping charges. You are already paying shipping on a new gun.
The internet calculator shipping gizmo does not care, and will charge you extra by weight of pellets for shipping.
At least I think that was the drift?

You forgot the part where Utah Airguns has a Buy 4, get the 5th free. Just put 5 tins in your cart and when you go to check out, that 5th tin will show as free.Utah airguns and Trenier outdoors are my .20 cal go to vendors.
