In the almost 4 years that I have owned my Sniper HR, my only complaint is the lack of adjustment in the cheek rest. Only capable of about 1/2" before you run out of room. Well, this morning I think I came up with a solution without doing anything to the gun that is irreversible. I simply took 2 drywall anchors that were the same size as the shafts on the cheek rest:
Then I cut the tips off and used a #10 x 3/4" screw to attach them to the shaft:
then threaded them into the cheek rest:
I gained about another 5/8" in adjustment:
Easy - peasy
