Better weather?

Every time I hear an iguana story I think about you. On the internet they are falling out of trees like ripe peaches.

Are they moving around again? Did this cold slow them down much?

They are going to wake up hungry....
Likely somewhere further up north then. But there's plenty of food everywhere for them to eat here lol.

Here in Eastern WA we've had an amazing January. We also though had our entire 4 months of winter precip in 6 weeks from mid Nov to beginning of Jan. It was horrible before. We needed this kind of weather
Central WA here. Hoping it gets above 50 degrees so I can practice a little more.

I spent 3 days out camping on the Olympic Peninsula over the MLK weekend and I couldn’t have asked for better weather. I was at about 1600 feet and it was cold and icy, but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky the entire time. I set up a 90 yard range with targets at all ranges in between and spent the entire time target shooting. It would have been nice to have a bit more range, but we have dense foliage here, so finding 100+ yards to shoot out in the woods can be difficult.

As long as I'm dressed for it, I can enjoy shooting in about any weather. If im not up moving around I get cold easy. Sitting shooting is tough when you are cold.

I've got a pair of Walls blizard proof canvas coveralls and a sheepskin cap. They extend my shooting season by many days every year. I can get pretty happy sitting in the cold with those coveralls. They are more important than a good scope on a cold windy day.

I don’t know about you guys , but I have my suspicions. Our weather is so different from when I was a kid. No where near the same. And not for the good. Crow
Agree, I am pushing 80 and grew up in N Louisiana. I remember waiting for school bus and having to wear heavy coats. My birthday is Halloween and I remember going out trick or treating and there would be ice on water puddles, no longer that, it's more shorts and t shirt weather for that now.
