(Note to self though….make sure your scope is not set for yesterdays windage.)
Set back up and shot another 50m group and for some reason my scope was sending rounds to the left!?! ….see note to self lol
Still kept shooting as all I wanted was a group size with little to no wind. It was ok but after trying to figure out what was up I found the problem. After resetting the scope I was able to shoot again and really liking this thing so far.
Did have one strange thing happen later on, was shooting at 66m and noticed a 2” drop from the norm and a bad group size from others. FPS went from 960’s to 911 when I broke out the chronograph and was still at 200bar.
Cleaned the barrel and topped off to the 260 bar like before, after 10 shots I rechecked…was in the 920’s.
Only other thing I could think of was the regulator knob. Noticed the bottom ring was no longer flush like I remembered it. Re-tuned to the 960’s and was back where it should be. All I can guess is during the day of shooting and later walking the barn area for a starling I had turned the aftermarket tuning knob that sticks out further than the stock one. Learn something every day lol
All in all fun day.
