bi-laws wanted

Hey folks, I'm trying to start up a FT club and range in the Mobile, Al. area. nothing closer than 3-4 hours away.
First need is a copy of Bi-Laws to basically adopt (i don't want to re-invent the wheel)
ideas for insurance and how to set it up? Non Profit? Bank account? Etc...
Any and all ideas appreciated.

aafta dot org has a whole page about starting a club with sample bylaws at the bottom. If you don't want to re-invent the wheel, why not start at the Ford dealership?

I have always have run FT at an already established gun club. The organization, insurance and stuff is already in place. You also have a group from which you might, I say MIGHT be able to draw some shooters. The downside is that you need to deal with club politics and some just do not want anything to do with airguns. Some clubs however are open to new activities and programs.

I have done NRA club insurance and setup a non-profit company approved by the IRS after several months of operation. Look at your state laws for setting up a non-profit company. It cost meat least $1K to get started.
