Those of you that have bi-pods on your rifles is there one that you really like? I have rests and bags, but I hate packing them up to take to the range. This is not for anything like benchers shooting, but I also don't want some wobbly set either. I have looked online and there are sets all over the price range, but without seeing one I hate to drop hundreds of dollars only to find out that I really don't like it.

Thanks,

Jerry

I have a better bipod for my ft-r class rifle( 1000yd) but doesnt connect to a picattiny. So I just received a $28
one from Amazon. I’ve been trying it out for 2 days in cellar. It works for the intended purpose for shooting a ZELOS
which doesn’t do well on bags. It’s one of those cheap enough to try things and if desired I’ll get a good one.

By far the most stable with many different feet options plus legs extensions is my Accu-Tac PC4. They are expensive but there is zero movement in any direction. I have the P-Ski feet attached now see photo on my RAW. I use double leg extensions on each side (4 total) when hunting/pesting in the field, almost tripod like. Besides being pricey, they are heavy but the stability is never an issue, built like a vault. The heads are interchangeable and can be purchased from Accu-Tac. I have 3 clones which are much smaler and have wobble incorporated/built into them 😂, but are fine for use with my light Notos. Like said above mine has the pan/swivel head feature.

I never have & never will spend hundreds on a bipod. I don't shoot competition but I'm no slouch. The only competition I ever shot in I beat guys who paid 10 x or more for front rests than the $60 my bipod cost. I've shot off of expensive bipods and rests but didn't think they made me any more or less accurate. But, that's me, ymmv. There ARE some solid, inexpensive bipods out there.
