Big Bore Shooting Groups 3 or 5 Shots?

I strictly hunt with my rifles. I don’t target or paper punch with any of my rifles. My go to big game rifle is my Texan .457 CF TX2.

I cast and design my own bullets, so the only time I will ever take more than one shot in a sitting is whenever I am doing bullet development and tuning to that new bullet. I will only take three shots before refilling because my extensive experience shows that on shot 4 through whatever, Point of impact greatly shifts. So I take the basis of accuracy on three shots only.

Here is an example. See the bottom right hand corner. I had three bullets touching and then shots four and five. I did this on purpose so people can see that three shots are optimal.

Those groups are plenty good. I'm new to the bb game but I noticed on my max 457 the first three group decent then just like you say the next three look like a whole new group lol. I am playing around with shooting three shots using 200 gr ammo then the next three with 152 gr ammo. I ran out of air the last time I was out and only got a mag or two before I was out.
