Big Power in a Small Package: Meet the MicroStrike

why more power? For what use? It looks like their take on a notos style gun and id hope they are priced below it if they want to compete at all. For $189 a Notos is about impossible to beat but its limited to .22 only. Neat they did 177 and 25 as well. Options. Power is over rated. Guess it depends on your use.
A few things to keep in mind here as the MicroStrike is more expensive, but personally, I think it's well justified.
1) The MicroStrike is capable of more power than the notos in .22 (only caliber the Notos is made in)
2) The MicroStrike is all metal, only plastic on the gun is the buttstock and grip
3) You have an externally adjustable regulator and hammer spring for tuning
4) You can interchange between the three calibers quickly and easily (like the Avenge-X)
5) The folding stock allows you to quickly stow the gun in a shorter package than the Notos without any disassembly/parts removal required

Definitely hard to compete with the Notos on price, but I think you're getting a more feature rich product by comparison.

What are the physical dimensions? I’m looking for an air rifle for training kids and currently the Notos is my best option, but this might be a better fit depending. Common ammunition with the .25 I’m looking at myself would be nice too.
My guess would be a similar size to the notos minus the moderator.

By the looks the barrel is under 15 inches and the OAL is under 24 inches so it probably would meet AAFTA rules. If it needs a moderator to make it pleasing to your ears (and your squad partner!) then that might push it over the length requirements.
Tpatner said it's around 16" so it gives you a little room for moderator..

Very cool features for sure. Value added. Once we figure all that out it will stand on its own.

Good looking pcp. Be nice if they changed the cocking lever. I would call it the “South Fenix”

Where did you find a notos for $189? Was it priced lower when it came out? I have only seen it for $265

Current price list. Has gone up a bit in the last few weeks. I got mine for $207 before shipping about 2 weeks ago.

I do like the gun, I think it has merit but here is an open letter to AV:

"AV, listen up. We have the Notos, it has flaws, we understand that this carbine has several changes that the Notos does not have (thank you) but you really need to read this thread and comment as we go on. We have the world wide audience of those that care about airguns and we are not just throwing out BS.

PLEASE consider the biathlon cocking lever and stop this flat lever crap that started with the Notos!

You WANT to cream the Notos, you CAN be the one we choose but you NEED to follow the will of the users and put a useable gloved hand cocking lever on the Micro Strike!!

I'm modifying your gun as soon as its for sale, I putting a larger bottle on it and swapping out that poorly engineered cocking lever first off, I BEG of you, put me out of business!!!

Dave"

It's AirVenturi no Umarex.
I like being able to adjust a regulator , and I wonder what this one can be turned up to. I only punch paper , but like power also. I mean who wants to count to 3 before the pellet hits.
I wounder what the cc of the tube is , or if it's removable , so I can put a little bottle on there for more shots. I already got a mod for it I have never seen on any air gun. I love it. Honestly can't wait. Well done AirVenturi.
