Just wanted to give STO a shout out and thanks for his recent assistance.
I've been using his Accipiter on my 100 foot pound 30 caliber for quite some time and it does more than enough to make the gun back yard friendly.
After years of use I thought maybe a good cleaning would be in order - WRONG!
Thinking his internals would be similar to most all of the other cans out there I took the end cap off and slid everything out for a good rinse off- WRONG AGAIN!
In my fumbling to get everything back inside I managed to crack part of the cage inside, and also one of the guide rods.
I sent him an email explaining everything and he timely replied and told me that it never needed cleaning and was only getting better with age and use.
He offered me the replacement internals at a ridiculously low price and I couldn't get the money to him fast enough.
He very promptly sent me the entire internals set ready to slide back in, and mentioned that he'd made a few improvements as well.
After getting everything back together and getting it back on the rifle, I took few shots and honestly believe it's a bit more quiet than the original.
