I wish Artemis had not skimped on the shroud of the PP700....
PCP pistols are notoriously loud — because they have such short barrels, which gives the pellet very little time to accelerate fast enough for the power we want.... So, we blow a lot of air behind the pellet, much of which goes out the muzzle — and makes noise!
So, PCP pistols need all the help in the loudness department that they can get!
And if a PCP pistol already has a big tube on the bottom for the air cylinder, making a similar tube for the shroud should create a matching look.

I wished they would make PCP pistols
SHORT, but with BIG DIAMETER SHROUDS. ➔ Then I wouldn't need a 6.5" Sumo to get it backyard quiet at c. 12FPE (.22cal) — defeating the purpose of having a short gun like a pistol....
