Other Bintac MCAR Issues and Updates

I posted an update in another thread, but after thinking about it for a bit, I decided to make a new thread on this.
Link to my previous post(s) is here: https://www.airgunnation.com/thread...oa-long-range-457-video-review.1319153/page-3

Update on the MCAR on my end. There was an issue with my rifle where the hammer would jam up after several cycles. The jam would prevent the cocking lever and hammer to come back smoothly and when trying to push the lever forward, the hammer would ride over the sear. My son's rifle would fire without even pulling the trigger, with slight pressure on the grip, but he didn't have the hammer issue that I was having. I contacted Bintac and we were sent two new receivers. This fixed both of those issues. Thank you Bin!

Now for the new issue. We filled the guns to 300 bar and noticed that the regulator gauge was reading the same as the tank gauge. We turned down the regulator adjustment, fired to expel the plenum pressue and repeat. We can not seem to get the regulators to stabilize at 3100 to 3200 psi. On my gun, the regulator will either drop to zero and not refresh, or it will read the tank pressure. I am pulling my hair out on this. My son's gun seems to take forever for the reg gauge to go back to the set pressure. I am going to reach out to Bintac tomorrow to see what they say.

If anyone has any suggestions in the meantime, I am all ears. I took a look at the Belleville washers on both rifles and they are both set up the same. There are in a 14 washer stack, and order they are in, from inside to outside (adjustment screw end) are this: inside of body -> (( )) (( )) (( )) (( <-adjustment screw end. Down, Down, UP, UP | Down, Down, UP, UP | Down, Down, UP, UP | Down, Down.
following ..all the best.

Quick update: Bintac is sending some new regulators. I’ll update this when they are received.
@Kyrixa Good to read that Bin is sending new components to replace the faulty ones. Has he identified and explained what the issues with the faulty components are? If so, are the issues something that you think you could have corrected with proper identification and instruction/guidance?

Hello, I have another issue with the BinTac MCAR. It arrived last November with a broken cheek guard and despite numerous e-mailexchanges with Bin, I still haven't got the replacement for it. He told me that a lot of clients had the same issue and that he would solve it. I am still waiting.

Another issue: The filling probe on the stock of the airgun is clogged with an unknown substance which is really hard and difficult to remove. See attached picture. Anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you clear it?

So far, I am really disappointed with the fact that after almost 3 moths owning it I still haven't been able to fire a single shot with it. For the price of the gun that is not good.

You may be waiting a long time for the parts. It is a slow ride across the pond on a freighter from china. That gold colored material is a brass air filter. It is pressed in there to slow down the rate of air when filling the gun. Do not remove it.

Can’t you try it while waiting for the replacement cheek piece? I’d want to at least verify that everything else is functioning correctly.

Thanks for the reply. As a navy diver I should have recognized the material as an air filter. Never seen it on a PCP though.

About the Cheekrest: Bin said he received them mid December. Normally, I would not post this kind of stuff on forums but I have tried anything else. I am now going to get something custom made as a replacement.

I can but it will get some attention on the shooting range. plenty of guys will tell me that the cheek rest need some fixing. I rather avoid that if that is possible.
