I'd like to add a 4 inch picatinny bipod rail to a synthetic stock (Marauder), using screws. Has anyone done this? Thanks

You can do it but not wood screws. You have to use machine screws with a lock nut on the inside.

if you can i would make some aluminum blocks and epoxy them in the inside of the stock to either thread and screw to or bolt to

I've used "T-nuts" installed form the inside of the stock and bedded in epoxy to mount accessories to a thin section of a wood or plastic stock.
Trim the T-nut to length (check fit and clearance) roughen and clean surfaces with alcohol before gluing into place.

this is a Hammerli 850 forearm cover that i added an Anschutz accessory rail now is it over kill maybe but when you can screw to a plate inside the stock you are making it stronger
