On, Canada
Today I wanted to shoot special. And I did, these are .20 cal.
IMG_6228.jpeg
I just put a scope this morning on the HW30 and 50. The 30 started the round taking a few minutes to zero it at 30 yds.
IMG_6229.jpeg
This is one of my newest from AOA along with the 50 and 95. I’ll keep this 30 forever. So unique.
The HW50 needed zeroing as well. Another dream rifle in the works. Piss off, having so much fun a Dear fly got me on the ankle.
IMG_6232.jpeg
Another AOA special the 95. This is a stupid accurate gun for very new. I had nothing this couldn’t hit up to 35 yds. Going to be a keeper once the springs get changed.
Now this baby has a Vortek spring but still waiting for the piston seal. Absolutely the most amazing rifle to own. When it’s on the rack light emits from it.
IMG_6235.jpeg
It’s hard to miss your mark, it’s that good. 25-35 yd.
This next puppy a HW90, I thought it would have a hard time following the 97‘s performance. This 90 is a leader , not a follower. The sounds that come from this gun are the 90’s only. Turned down to 18 bars seems to turn this gun into a magician. It’s more cost with the gauge and pump, but they turn turn this gun into a mind boggling miracle. This gun has a virus that makes you want more. Definitely in a league of its own.
IMG_6233.jpeg

The last is a R9. It is identical to the 95. I think this Beeman was the one that converted me to be a sinner of shooting the .20. The Dark side.

A tac driver.
I really don’t under stand why the .20 cal. seems to be so superior over the other cal. IMO.
I like handling them over .177, not as much fumbling. Been using JSB 13.??
Even when hitting spinners they hit the spinner in the center.
Would like a 77 and 98 in .20 cal.
‘These are current. I’ve never seen or had a chance for an older classic .20 cal.
AGS has had .20 JSB’s in stock last few months. Never been an issue.
All the guns above get a 5 star ratting.
Do you find the .20 cal. superior over the .177 and .22?

i do not have a .20 yet !
I fought for about 2 1/2 always thinking can’t buy ammo, poor selection. Changed my mind because of reading this forum, I never heard one complaint about the .20. They all had one common denominator, they loved their 20’s. I just got 3 from AOA and super happy with delivery, had to go through a second dealer. 95 Lexus calling. Crow
Everyone remembers their first....
My first Rapid PCP... .20 cal, AZ shroud, Paul Wilson Cobra Stock......

I’m sorry should be in springers. You have some deadly looking rifles. Crow
Personal opinion, but I prefer the .20 over most all the others. The others have their place in the grand scheme of things, though.
You’re right on. Crow

Oddly I have no .20 guns out of 9. I've wanted to change this, but have not. For being a superior airgun caliber, oddly ammo selection is not good at all. Big attractor of .22 is that you can get a tin of 500 pellets of reasonably good quality for $7 or so. And at most walmarts to boot.

.177 is a bit anemic where .22 is a bit over-weight. .20 is just right imo and should be vastly more popular than it is. But it just isn't.

Fantastic collection by the way. I am a bit jealous :)

Yes, IMO the 13.73 JSB is single best pellet on the market today;)

Thanks.
I hear you. I don’t get it. I only have 1 JSB and 1 H&N, but both excellent rounds. We pay $16. - $18. for the Crossman.
Aside from the price of the rounds. I shoot 4 different cal. rifles daily. Probably have 20 rifles .22, but I believe the .20 is my most successful cal. Crow

I’ve asked to get some 15.89 but I don’t think they ever made it up here. Crow.

Don't own a PCP in .20 yet but I do have 3 Beeman's in .20 and have never made it a secret I'm a fan of the caliber owning 9 total.

I'll have to get a couple new pics of the R10, since it's now scoped with a Hawke Airmax 4-12x40 in BKL double strap rings.
