In all my years of using BKL Technologies rings and rails, etc, had an slight issue with one of the 30mm rings I bought.
Single phone call, no hold / transfer-
"yes sir, no sir
-I'm really sorry about that sir.
-I'll get a replacement set of rings mailed out to you right away sir."
A couple things here, the valve of excellent customer service today seems to be overshadowed by tip culture where disingenuous employees seem to work you a little, refer to you as boss, my guy, or dude.
What this brief phone conversation did went far beyond the replacement of a defective part, it turned a longtime user into a user for life.
