Black Friday Buys

Last year there was thread so everybody who wanted could share what they bought on Black Friday. I enjoyed it so here goes again. I really wanted to buy the .177 Wildcat at AOA but I resisted. I did order a Donny FL Tanto for my R10. Hopefully I will be able to stay strong the rest of the weekend. Just need to stay busy so I don’t think about it.

I thought there was a lot more activity last year on who bought what and so on. Not so this year huh? I bought a Hatsan Nova but it wasn't on a sale and a scope that also wasn't on sale. I just didn't see anything that wanted or needed.

I know, I didn’t think there was much on sale this year. I also considered a side shot, but I don’t you tube so why do I need videos of myself shooting starlings. The bright side is the money I had stashed for Black Friday I will still have available for a used gun from the classifieds.

I bought pellets and they weren’t as cheap as last year. Oh well still better than the normal price.

Same here. I was looking for maybe a TX200 on sale, they did not exclude them last year, but they sure did this year. So, got the 16% off on pellets and a good deal on a pellet trap.

Hmm there weren't too many appetizing deals on air guns that I saw. There was a lot of package deals like pay full price for this and get a lot of extras with it. I ended up just buying a used scba bottle and a new shooting chair lol.

Been cruising the various websites looking at scopes. I just haven't been impressed with whats being offered on sale.

I realize it is not a 2k-3k top of the line scope, but I thought it was a fair trade none the less.

I also took advantage of the 4 hour 16% off at Pyramid air and bought a few items: Hatsan 135 QE Vortex 5.5mm, a few steel targets, 4 diff H&N hunting pellets, a chronograph and a bunch of other odds and ends. No super deals, but cheaper than normal. So for an old powder burner like myself it was not a bad time to get more involved into the sport of air gunning.

In the last month I have run 5k pellets through a wally world special Ruger Impact Max and I have had an absolute blast. Hence the delving a little deeper into the sport. I have lurked here all along finally joining a short time ago so I might get some advice. I contacted a few folks privately and all have been more than happy to help. You have some great members here. Thank you for having me.

Was looking for a Vulcan Tactical in .25 or a Cricket Mini Carbine in .25 and couldn't find one on sale anywhere so I'm good for Christmas time. Hopefully someone will offer a good deal on either of these two rifles and take all this filthy money off me.

I almost bought that .177 wildcat, but I needed another pcp like I need a toothache. I got a bunch of money left in my pocket for another deal.

I had no idea that Huben is now making the K1 in 25 cal as well as 22. Well, I had no idea until I started looking around for Black Friday deals. I guess I'd better start putting in some overtime, seeing as how I just pulled the trigger on one from AOA. I didn't see anything on the web page to indicate if it was a stock item or not. I hate it when retailers do that. If they contact me and tell me it's on backorder, I will probably cancel, because I've also been eyeballing the Edgun R5M in 30 cal. Somebody has to be on the bleeding, er, I mean leading, edge of airgun advancement.
