If I'm excited about a gun that costs $450 with free shipping and you email me saying "Black Friday Sale! $200 off that gun you wanted!" and I go to your website and you raised the price $50 and then took away free shipping (now $45), I'm not buying it and you lost all sales from me for the foreseeable future. Had you said "$100 OFF!" I would have bit the bullet and been happy to pay it but now you get nothing from here on out because you had to be deceitful. Congratulations!

I'm going to be nice and not throw you under the bus by naming you but you know who you are and what I'm referring to. Bad buisness.

I'm curious to see how many people noticed the same thing I did. I can't be the only person who was interested in this new but overpriced springer only being sold by I believe one major retailer in the US.

I know they do and I've had enough of it. Do it about something I'm excited about and I'm drawing a line in the sand from here on out. Losing my buisness won't be the end of the world or even noticeable to these people but at least I'll feel better knowing they won't have my money or my recommendation to others anymore.

I know businesses have to make money. No problem, I'll happily give it to you. All I ask in return is not to lie to me or try and fool me. I'm not asking for a lot here.

I’m gonna second @Gerry52, especially for those of us who are newer to the community it would be really helpful to know which businesses are engaging in deceptive behavior. I understand if you don’t want to say something for fear of retribution but if you felt comfortable doing so, it would certainly be appreciated. I don’t want to support businesses that try to take advantage of customers.

Its really not fair to point this company out because they're really no worse than anyone else out there. I watched every single seller slowly raise prices over the last couple of months on everything from guns to pellets to cover their "losses" when they put out Black Friday promo codes. Throwing this company under the bus wouldn't be right. I probably shouldn't have made this post but I was extremely annoyed by it at the time.

My second comment on this thread was all the hint I will be giving here. Truthfully, its a pretty big hint so I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about.
