I'm unable to get any shot groups this weekend as I was moving some landscaping rocks and threw my back out. Just been laying still in bed for the weekend so far.
I sneezed an hour ago and thought I was going to cry,lol funny but not funny.I did get a cheap scope and rings mounted before the back acted up.

Finally, got to feeling good enough to ease down to my shooting table to shoot 2 mags worth.The scope is a el cheapo oh hunt that when you adjust the eye focus you can actually see the crosshairs wobble lol.I put my ldc on it over using the donnyFL it came with,just my preference for added sound reduction.
Now remember, I only shot 2 mags worth period and it's the first time I have shot it since getting it.I spent the first mag zeroing then the next mag was spot on minus 1 flyer,also no adjustments to the raptor yet .(just as I got it)
I have no idea about fps yet as my back was not gonna tolerate anymore than walking down for the 2 mags then slowly easing back into the house.I just had to get out and see how shes shoots.i was at 30 yards using crossman premier hollow points.

That's very good, even more so considering you're using CPHPs. What pellet does JSA recommend?
Get some rest for that back and take some muscle relaxants prn.

Dodge! Glad you were “able” to shoot just the 2 mags! She is beautiful and shoots like a dream with those CPHP’s! Enjoy dialing her in

Little bit of an update.I was able to get to shoot the raptor a bit and for the money looking to be a good shooter.im gonna start with the few things I don't like(which are minor) before I talk about the things I do like.
Dislikes that are minor
1. Magazines are hanging up a bit on rotation. (May just need broken in or adjustment,gonna call jsar and see what they say)
2. If you like to mount things like bipods the pretty anno will get Mark's on it but that's life if you use something.
3. Cocking lever a little gritty at the last 1/3 of the pulling action.(should smooth out with use)
4. Lol no grab handle like on my Flex,man I love that on the Flex.
5. Gauge is too small for my old eyes to read well

1. Trigger seems very nice
2. Butt stock very adjustable
3. Accurate using cheap cphp pellets(well mine is)
4. Looks great
5. Fairly lightweight for a long airgun
6. I feel good about my money spent
7. Jsar good to deal with
8. air efficiency looking to be good so far
Tonight I shot 10 mags worth at 30 yards from 3400psi down to 2000psi, if I read it correctly. I did have some fliers as it does seem to be shooting the 14.3 grain pellets a bit too hot as I haven't adjusted anything yet since I got it.Im gonna say with a good scope and some jsb pellets with a little crono work shes gonna shoot lights out.
Overall, I really like the raptor.
Here's what 10 magazines looks like in one sitting without any tuning yet.im sure the fliers are due to being shot too hot.

Dodge, very nice write up and 10 mag groups with CPHP’s! Like you said, it was probably tuned for JSB 18gr pellets, plus CPHP will get fliers with any pellet rifle! Keep the posts a coming please as I am living vicariously thru your Raptor and you till I receive mine! LOL! Enjoy!

A real mouth watering beauty, i don't see the adjustable regulator. Aren't the Raptors supposed to come with adjustable regs on the bottle. I believe i read earlier, that they will send you the adjustable reg bottle when they come in. I'm holding off till i hear some experience reports, and they have the regs on the gun,

Yeah,mine doesn't have the adjustable regulator but they are supposed to send one out once the production is finished. The raptor is a nice one for the money especially if your gonna shoot slugs as the magazines seem really deep,lol like you can actually put 2 pellets stacked on top of each other and there's still room left.(DEEP)

Ok,I have ran a total of 18 magazines soo far without adjusting anything, accuracy pretty good still even with a few hot running strays here and there.I think I have figured out my magazine issue.The front cover Allen screw that just allows the cover to rotate up and over it when loading but once loaded the cover rests flat on top of it,one of the mags the Allen screw was what seems left too high and puts the cover in a bind when loaded causing a partial rotation upon cocking. I'm gonna see if I can snug it down a bit so that the cover sits flush .

Just got finished shooting 12more magazines worth and tried to use my chrono but that was a bust as I got the crossman 14.3 to get down to the 950s from 1k plus ,then my chrono stop working once again.
Lol,the crossman were more accurate at 1kish than at a slower 950ish.i also shot some jsb 18.1 but man they were all over the place about like the crossman were.I ran a couple of mags worth of the jsb monsters that did better than the 18.1s .I was surprised by some eunjin 28.5 so much that I shot 6 mags worth straight. I took the scope and buttstock off my flex .25 temporarily till the wife says I can spend some more money.The flexs buttstock has the folding adapter on it so it makes it much easier to make fps adjustments.
