Daystate Black Wolf

Has anyone received the new daystate black wolf? Is this similar to the ghost. I have the Day State Redwolf and the Day State Alfa wolf, two great guns. Would I be getting something different if I reach out and grab the day state black wolf in your comparison I also have the Pantera and FX CROWN, which is the crème de la crème of the above. I’m contemplating getting the black wolf not to mention I already have the red panda I only shot it once at our RMAC

Look at the Blackwolf as if:
the Brocock ghost and the Daystate Wolverine had a baby.
I think it’s a brilliant platform that addresses all the weaknesses of the Wolverine while adding the best aspects of the Ghost.
The Redwolf being electronic is a different creature.
Daystate products come with a 5 year warranty too! But they are pricey.

My advice is to hold off on the Blackwolf. I don't see anything game changing about it for people who already have a good collection, like yourself. But for people like me who are buying their first airgun and have the budget, it looks like it could be a "one and done" solution.
If I were in your shoes, I would get the Black Wolf. If I didn't have my Ghost, I would get a Black Wolf.

I could not agree more which is why I'm pulling the trigger

blackwolf over the ghost?
Yes. I haven't shot my Ghost as much as I would like, but it is a very nice shooting rifle. That said, I've been using it on the bench only and think the Black Wolf would be better in that regard. Especially the tactical version. I also like the looks of the tube vs the bottle, but am not sure which one I would choose if I do decide to sell the Ghost and get the Black Wolf. I also really like the walnut stock and Daystate has beautiful stocks so that would make the decision even harder. First world problems.

I also like the looks of that Tactical with the tube. That being said, while just shooting on the bench, I have never thought… “I would be ok with less air”. But I sure like the look!

I love my Ghost also, but the look and feel of the black wolf seems like it fits right in my arms. I am gonna close my eyes and pull the trigger. I admire your station by the way. especially the Crow videos
Like the Ghost, the Blackwolf will offer easy caliber change, and increased power options.
Unlike the Ghost, or Bullpups in general,
it should retain balance at shoulder nicely thus getting a comfortable eyebox behind the scope will be much easier on the neck Without mounting the scope higher above the barrel.
last but not least is the easy servicing - much simpler design and less rubber parts / moving parts overall.

I agree with you if I did decide to get this gun, I will get the one with less air. I know that it's hard for me to say, but I got too many other guns with that big bottle plus I'm not gonna shoot bench anymore unless this gun wins the championship. And a very well may.

I agree about the tube vs the bottle - I will probably go with the two just because I got too many other air guns with bottles
