Tuning Blessed by Motorhead and camsprecisionairguns

We in NorCal are blessed to have Scott Schneider (Motorhead AG Tuning Services) and Cameron Kerndt (camsprecisionairguns) as local field target competitors and friends to buy guns from, tune/modify guns and share their combined state, national and world champion field target experience and tutoring. They've improved my shooting skills and enjoyment immensely.

Three of these guns have been graced with their airgunsmith skills and they are shooters. Only the 1701P remains untouched except for the addition of a Williams air gun rear sight.

I just acquired the Daystate for an "I can't pass it up" price from a fellow FT competitor and while it doesn't fit the image of a target gun it is amazingly accurate, has a fabulous trigger, to my eye is the most beautiful air rifle currently produced and is infinitely easier to carry afield than the magnificent Steyr which, in its current configuration, is a handful of a gun.

I seldom post "Lookie what I have" pictures at random, but I thought I'd share these, being as I am a spring gun guy and never wanted to own a PCP, lol.

Yes, you are lucky to have them there as we are to have them here on the forum. Both with tremendous contributions to the sport.
Troy, you are also one who is in the same conversation as Scott and Cameron with your knowledge, skills and your willingness to help others...🙏

I'm more than happy to share anything I know or learned but not sure if I've made that level yet. It's okay I'll keep working at it.

The Daystate Regal XL is one of the best unregulated airguns money can buy. They are superbly accurate. They shoot like a regulated gun on the curve. The one in the photos above wears a Leupold 6.5-20x - 40mm. Exactly as mine is rigged.

Wow lovin that Daystate
I happened to be with the original owner in 2017 while at AOA during the AAFTA Nationals week. The stock was hand picked wanting a DARK & Grained specimen.
Gun has gone threw a few hands since staying within the club ( Fred to John to AJ to Cameron to Chris ... IIRC ? ) .... when Chris told me the deal he got on it ... WOW  I would scooped that one up my self if only to flip it
