Blurry scope reticle question

What does it mean when the reticle won't come into focus when your eye is in the center of the eye box....

BUT IT WILL come into perfect, crisp focus when your eye is at the very edge of the eye box and the rest of the image is getting blurry and about to fall off comepletely?

Did that but it won't completely focus until I tilt my head almost out of the eye box.

I had a bad UTG scope with that characteristic. No focus at center of picture. It was replaced under warranty.

If it is a variable power scope see if the problem exist at the lowest magnification or just at the highest.

im going to guess your reticle is not optically centered in the tube, maybe see how many clicks you can adjust your scope in each direction and split the difference to see if the reticle becomes clear if so you might need need adjustable rings.

At $600 contact the vendor and ask for a replacement if nothing else works. My faulty scope was a fixed power but more than 10 times less expensive.

I have one of those and it's crystal no matter what, including at the bleeding edge of turret adjustment.

Yours must be faulty - I'd send it back for warranty replacement if at all possible
