BOB or Range Cart in loose mushy stones?

I am looking for a jogging stroller to build a range cart for schlepping my shooting gear. I borrowed my daughters 4 wheel collapsible wagon for the recent PAC event. I had to pull it through a lot of loose stones and pulled my back out and I’ve been layed up for 3 weeks now. I am thinking a push cart might be better (for my back) than a pull cart. Which brings me to my question, how do the 3 wheel jogging strollers do in LOOSE stone parking lots? I have seen them with 8” - 16” diameter wheels and I would assume the bigger the wheel diameter would be better but that is only a hunch. So if you have a coverted jogging stroller how does it PUSH through loose and mushy stones and what are your wheel sizes?

The big problem with a jogging stroller is you can and will fill it up with all kinds of stuff you do not really need to carry with you .

That's all we use down here. Works great in loose gravel etc. { pushing } Amazing what you can put in one. Can put all I need for Ft as well as bench rest, Have mine rigged to carry two rifles, air tank, front and rear rest, seat cushion , small ice chest, battery powered fan etc , etc. Of course, you will need to do some modification.
@Cajun1024

Wow, that’s a lot of gear. What brand is your cart? Do you have a picture of it loaded for bench rest?

This is the cart I use. Both times at the 2022 and 2023 RMAC I have never used the pull handle, just the push bar on the other end like a grocery cart. I can carry two fx gun cases, a tank, tool box to hold all stuff pcp related, a small cooler, and a 7 gallon bucket that holds my ammo, bench tripod, rear monopod, etc, etc.

The grocery cart handle area has a storage shelf perfect for a large yeti water cooler thermos, and my roll out mat I lay over the bench top.

I’ve eyeballed a lot of cool baby stroller carts and yes I would like to go that route but being on a cane won’t allow that. Typically when I go into a store I grab a cart to assist with my balance so this take down cart works out perfect

@Bigragu I only had a single wagon style handle on my cart and when I tried to push it the small wheels just nose dived into the loose mushy stone so I had to pull it kind of lofting the front wheels out of the stone. That s what hurt my back. Just looking for feedback to see if the three wheeled strollers would stay up on top of loose stone when pushed. Thanks for your feedback Augie!

While I do not shoot FT anymore, I still have my cart.
I have another one that is unmolested.
I carried the rifle, bucket, sticks.
I use it for airgun fundays and at the range when shooting boomers!

No. I do not have that rifle any longer.
