FX Bobcat MK2 air leak

I acquired an .30 FX Bobcat MK2 that has an air leak and I don't see how to seal it. So I figure one of you FXperts will point me in the correct direction. Under the trigger assembly are two bolts. A 13mm and a 10mm. Next to the 13mm is a small hole. It appears the leak is coming from there. But I do not see anything the would allow me to seal it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

PS. Came with a Hawke 6-24x56 scope and a Hugget Magnum moderator.

I believe that's the regulator vent hole. I think you might have a reg issue, not a gun issue.

So rebuild the regulator?
I looked there does not appear to be a Bobcat manual so I'm not clear what has to be disassembled.

The Huma reg wont have creep issues. No first shots with 25-40fps lower velos
Never used one of theirs. After a couple of early tube type rifles I've stuck with bottle type and Huben Power regulators. This is my first FX so I need to learn how they do things. Like the floating hammer...

Thak you for the help.

Never shot any of the older models. I have a crown mk2 in .22 and a dreamline tac in .25 but once you figure out their features youll appreciate what they can do. Hope it works out well.

buy a ghost less problems
If you knew of what you speak then you would have known this is an older rifle. The MK1 was first sold in 2012. The MK2 some years later. Essentially replaced by the Wildcat and is no longer manufactured.

So, tell me where to buy a Ghost of the same age with a a Hawke 6-24x56 scope and a Hugget Magna moderator for $900. One that you can guarantee does not have orings that have deteriorated with age.

The Ernest Rowe Master Class video posted above is the way to go. When the reg in my FX Boss (same platform as Bobcat) went bad I replaced it with a Huma Air reg. BEST thing I ever did to it. It MIGHT be as simple as the o-ring on the part shown in your picture (reg relief/stock screw housing) so try that first. I might have extra external reg o-rings and the part in pic if you need to work on it. Contact me if you're in need.

Even with the new AMP mk2 in newer fx models .. the Huma 1:1 replacement is the way to go.

Once the AMP "spools up", so to say, it's great. Fantastic. But, for hunting applications an up to 40 fps differential in velocity can be catastrophic in the ethics department. 40fps less at the muzzle can definitely greatly alter your poi at distance resulting in an agonizing experience for an already unfortunate prey animal. Getting the HUMA Power tune reg 100-200bar in my dreamtac .25 and the Huma lower power reg (65-135bar) in my crown .22 resulted in less than 10fps difference between. The first shot of a rested reg and the 2nd. Huma offers incredible products and they have over and over again. Proven they know what they're doing, with a great attitude to boot.

I also have a Bobcat mk2 in .30 that I inherited , it had a leak that I had a hard time finding. Found out it was under that bigger trigger mount bolt , there are o-rings under each on of those bolts. Fixed it for me gun shoots great and holds air. This was my first pcp so I was just winging it from info on the web and forums. The Huma reg is my next buy.
Hope this helps and it is a easy fix as mine.

I actually thought that the larger one was the leak. So I did replace the orings under both. But it is the regulator hole beside the larger bolt. I clean up the regulator but did open it up and still leaking. So I ordered the Huma and it will be here Monday.

The oring in the outlet cap of the air tube was bad too.

Did Huma offer a high and lo option for this regulator?

The dreamline isn't exactly a powerhouse in .25 with all stock parts plus a power plenum my gun would max out around 53ft lbs, which for anything raccoon and smaller is PLENTY. After installing the HP reg, and adding the Huma Power tune kit and high flow tp.. I've got the dreamline currently shooting 30gr slugs around 948fps. The HIGHEST I could get her before was around. 910, but it was really running it hard, maxed out hammer spring, maxed out wheel all the way on 23, 133bar.(The hammer spring maxed out at 135bar seemingly so utilizing the higher pressures with the stock spring didn't seem feasible to me.

How do you plan on using the .30?

No, just the adjustable.
This one:

Mostly just plinking, I generally use my AEA Terminator .30 for Raccoons, the semiauto lets me get at least 2 rounds in them.
I actually bought it on a whim without a lot of thought as to what it was for. I didn't have any FX and with all the hype around here wanted to see if they actually rise to the level of the hype.
I also have far too many rifles to give them enough time on target.
Just to insure that I have even more I have the Snowpeak Max 1 in .25 on preorder so it may become the raccoon gun.
Also have an old AirForce Talon R0001 coming in. One of those drop a bid down and get an email 10 days later saying you won guns.
