FX Bobcat MK2 air leak

No, just the adjustable.
This one:

Mostly just plinking, I generally use my AEA Terminator .30 for Raccoons, the semiauto lets me get at least 2 rounds in them.
I actually bought it on a whim without a lot of thought as to what it was for. I didn't have any FX and with all the hype around here wanted to see if they actually rise to the level of the hype.
I also have far too many rifles to give them enough time on target.
Just to insure that I have even more I have the Snowpeak Max 1 in .25 on preorder so it may become the raccoon gun.
Also have an old AirForce Talon R0001 coming in. One of those drop a bid down and get an email 10 days later saying you won guns.
Ok. So you're not gonna be hot rodding or slug shooting this. Stock is good. I have a zelos and definitely want the max 1 as well. I just can't preorder. Give someone several hundred dollars and wait. But when they're widely available I will get one as I love my Zelos.

I dunno, I'll play with it for a while and see if I want to do something different. There is no telling what *bad brain* will convince me to do. Like buy an older FX rifle just to see what they do different. Supposedly super accurate but I'm limited to 45 yards. It may end up going to my brother & nephew up on the farm. They have a LOT more room and they do have a LOT of squirrels and the occasional coyote.

As far as accuracy the fx hype is real. I have a crown and a dreamline and both are phenomenal

"Limited to 45 yards"?!?! Where'd you hear that, or am I misunderstanding? My Bobcat1, .22, after being gifted to me, made a 102 yard head shot on a ground squirrel on my 1st hunt with it, 1st shot! All the guns of this platform (Bobcat, Royale, Boss) are WAAAY more capable than just 45 yards.

"I'm limited to 45 yards"
Not the rifle, my yard.
Anything longer requires travel.

Got most of the leaks sealed, still leaking about 50psi an hour. Will wait to see if the Huma fixes that before digging in any further. Old dried out orings. Rifle is probably 7-9 years old.

Fired it this morning, don't know what pellets, the magazines were loaded already. Stacked very nicely at 25 yards. The Huggett Magna moderator is amazing. Pellet strike was louder than the firing report. I think the only thing quieter is my .25 Gauntlet with a DFL Sumo and that would be very close.

I'm sure it will. The Belleville washer springs on the reg are probably shot to hell and it likely can't regulate correctly. Likely venting non stop..

As far as quiet and accuracy goes. Yes.

Set the Huma to 150bar. Filled it yesterday and after cooldown was cylinder read 230bar. Checked 12 hours later, 230bar.

Fired a 9 round magazine with my cheapo Chinese chrono hanging on the moderator.
All between 877 and 881 FPS
JSB Exact Diablo 44.75gr. 8 rounds at 25 yards essentially hole-in-hole and 1 I pulled due to the trigger.

9 rounds dropped the cylinder to ~205bar.

I'm good with that, not going to try to tune it any better. Do have to tighten up the trigger, just a touch and it fires. Looking in the manual need to lengthen the first stage (A screw) and increase the pressure (B screw).

Down side of that, have to pull the cylinder, take off the stock and turn the manometer enough to get a 2 or 2.5mm Allen to the B screw. I can test the trigger with the stock off, dry fire. Less than optimal design. It sure isn't an easy process like where the adjustments are right on the trigger assembly accessible from the outside.

Haven't decided if I'm keeping it or not. It does fill the .30 Bullpup(ish) slot.

Thanks for all the advice, an excellent rifle back to like new.
