If I got a adapter like that I would kept mine. I did not like the way it held my guns. Only one it held decent wat the one with the arca rail.My Bog Death Grip just has been improved 100 percent. I installed 'Little Crow Gunworks' ball kit. https://www.littlecrowgunworks.com/

It was quite a D-head comment for sure. Damn nothing wrong with liking the good stuff over low end. The bash comment was most likely from someone who has never used an expensive tri pod. Lol.you are so off base it is not even funny, just earned my second ignore on this site.
Agreed… and arca rail is the way to go, most of my rifles wear one now. I’ve also got a couple arca to pic rail adapters that work really well. I’ve noticed they even have ball heads that will accept both arca and Picatinny… so many options now.The Death Grip clamp is a heavy piece of equipement. If you go to an Arca rail and lose the clamp it saves close to a couple pounds.
Bog sells another kind that fits over your car door so you can shoot out the window hahaha! I am not kidding. It's a thing. I don't know where you can shoot from your car but, hey lets not skuff the leather, AmiRite?i had no idea this tripod can make backyard plinking insanely accurate & fun!!!
on the flip side
this tripod can also pointout if ur barrel is poor quality or the ammo u are using is crappy!!!
got it used from Amazon,
few scuffs here and there but nothing that screams return this right now,
so yeah very much like adding this in my setup for sure.

In photography a common cliché is that you don't buy a tripod, you marry one. I am married to my Manfrotto. Sky is the limit on tripods, seriously. There is no upper limit. My god have you seen the price of some of the telescope tripods? I have been playing with camera tripods and trying to get them to stay into a firearm's bipod adaptor since the very first time I saw my oldest tripod (30 years) and my first gun (21 years) ago in the same room together. For the most part I did just threw a bag on it. "I am married to my man, Frotto." lol I have nothing to do today, clearly.I have one and mostly use it sitting in one particular blind, it is ok... If I had paid full price for it I would have been annoyed, but I got it 50% off so I'm ok with it at that price. I just couldn't see spending a minimum of 800+ dollars on a decent tripod setup for something I'd use very rarely. But believe me, using a "real" tripod setup made for rifles is night and day difference from the bog. I've used several at friends from 1-2k+ in cost, if money is no object they are definitely worth it and make the bog feel/look/operate like junk. Just for my uses the price for good or better is not worth it and the bog suffices.
How much do you like that Arken? Also is that just a battery bank or as a hard drive? Your set up is cool.
You think the 3x12 would solve the issue for you? I used to play with digital NV years back but I never saw any major leaps in technology and availability the way Gen 3 and thermals did. I don't have money for a clip on Gen 3 or thermal any decade soon so I guess what I am hoping to hear is that it is totally worth the nuances and learning curve. It's hard to argue with their price, if so.I've been generally happy with the Arken Zulus. The compact size and light weight is why I got it. Only thing I don't like is the huge magnification. Too much for hunting/not enough field of view at 5X. I got it before the 3 X 12 came out. DNT now sells them, and their customer service is much improved.
18650 battery lasts most of the day, but like many other NV's the IR light eats power after dark. Yes that's a power bank/jump starter I have hooked up to it. The sling that Little Crown Gun works sells works great for holding it under the gun.
