Bolt action Hatsans not so good.

I own .22 .25 and .30 semi-auto/full auto and not had any problems. But I also have .17, .22 and .25 Bolt action Hatsans and they all are not reliable to say the least. Jamb, lock up or whatever.

Very disappointed. I thought a Bolt action would be more reliable, not so with the Hatsans I have...had.

Consider bolt-action in airguns an older technology. Umarex Gauntlet finally switched to side-lever, would not be surprised if Benjamin Marauder does same. WM

Own lots of hatsans, never jam. Pellets that have a small center dia gives other brands a intermittent problem.

I learned about airguns my 1st couple years owning Hatsan BT65's in .22 & .25. Never really fond of the bolt action but never really had any problems either. No jams that I can recall. When I got my 1st higher tier gun ALL others were sold. Side lever beats bolt action feel by a mile imho.

My 25 hydra was reliable all day long. It was ugly like every hatsan, but rock solid reliable. Sold it because the whole idea of the quick change caliber design was a joke. If I switched from 25 to 177, my velocity was in the 1100 fps range with 10 grain and fell off like a rock. Had to be tuned with the change each time.

I have 3 Hatsans. Two side levers and one bolt action. No issues wit either, but prefer side levers.
