Booster pump and nitrogen

Don't see why not as long as you have some sort of a slow flow regulator for the input.

Wonder if something like this would work for the input for any compressor?

300ml is 0.3liters a min or 0.01cft, thats 432 liters a day or 15.25cft at ambient pressure, thats going to take forever and a day to fill a decent sice tank and that sucker still cost close to $1400!

But yes a Shoebox or an Altaros booster will readily compress the supplied gas without a fuzz. A Yong Heng can be converted and it will work.

That looks interesting but it would take quite a while and also it looks like it has some form of desiccant filter in it so there could still be a water problem.

My efforts in this area are an attempt to get away from the Yong Heng type of problem. I don't want to spend the money necessary to get a "real" compressor like they use in fire departments or scuba shops. I would gladly go with the 6k nitrogen if I could get it and may keep working that avenue.

Some (very rich) fill from a 6000psi tank and deem it empty somewhere around 3000psi.

If you start with (in Denmark 200bar~2900psi only) you can regulate that down to 10bar~145psi to feed a Shoebox or an Altaros booster, and the bottle is empty around 6-7bar~90-100psi. If you can get a 6000psi bottle then fill direct until it drops below your fill pressure and contine to suck that bottle dry with a booster. So you get the max bang for your buck.

Oh and since the S-box is dead here is a booster that will deliver: https://www.altaros.cz/en/50-compressors

My problem here is twofold. My local Airgas guy says he can't get the 6,000psi tanks in my town (meaning there isn't enough demand for him to do it and make money) and the worst part is you have to be able to handle the 300+pound tank, the only size they have. The lease on the tank is fairly cheap and the refill is also cheap but I would have to go at least 100plus miles, load the tank myself (they won't help you load it) transport it home safely, unload and store it and then each time I wanted to refill, I would have to make the same trip all over again. If you are in a big city and have an airgun club there, the club could lease it, the company would bring it to you and they would refill it each time you needed it. I'm, what we call in the U.S., waaayyyy out in the weeds here.

My shoebox is brand new and should last for ten or twenty years 😄 but the Altaros looks interesting.
