bottle upgrade basics

Threading is only one issue, the needed adapter has a plunger seal, pressure gauge and fill foster on it to adapt it to the guns air-port.

The Zelos air tube already has all the parts on it as well as the correct thread pitch.

Here is the bottle kit and the tube along with the guns air-port.

maybe you have an idea how to seal the leak that i can't fix on the connection between gun air-port and fill/gauge adapter?

I wanted bigger cylinders on a couple of my semi-auto.
Above 0.7 (now 0.8) 61mm diameter cylinder you jump to 86.5mm diameter or larger on the 300bar CF cylinders.
Huben Power Dream Valve offsets ~30mm from the cylinder inlet centerline.
I have 1.1L cylinders (86.5mm) and given the spacing on those rifles I could go as big as 2L (96mm)

There are some pics on the net of the RTI MORA with the large 1.1 tank, cool feature is that the adapter can be rotated for the smaller or larger tanks. Maybe someone will make a custom dropped one for the Zelos.

They vary 60.5, 61, 61.5 (maybe others) depends on the manufacturer. The people that make some barrel bands send rubber strips to account for the variations. They print to the larger diameter and you add strips of rubber if your diameter is less.

There is a 34+mm distance (radius) from the adapter center to the edge of the shroud. 68mm should be a tight but doable OD bottle size but due to epoxy sloughing, 66mm may be more appropriate.

The Huben Power Dream Valve can be rotated but it will offset the cylinder from the barrel/shroud up to 30mm or so. Don't think it has any effect beyond esthetics.

Sometimes the issue with drop blocks like the Dream Valve is the fore stock has to be modified for the offset.

You don't have use the regulated dream valve, Huben has an unregulated drop block

The o'ring groove could be doubled in width and a second o-ring could be used.

it is a snowpeak M60B and i have it since a while now already. also i have modded it already in several ways. this defect, i just recently discovered. it was number three so far.

thanks, i might try that. i am still also waiting for some proper silicone grease, hoping that that could help as well(?).

My neighbor keeps asking when I'm putting the turret up on the roof.
I told him "when I buy the automatic"
Engineering a firing system for either auto or semiauto would not be all that difficult.
Probably could do it with 3 or 4 nema stepper motors and controls.
Print the linkages for the trigger.
Tying a vision system back to the stepper motor controls, Raspberry Pi and some custom code would probably work.
Reolink already does it with their security cameras so the tracking software exists.

But I'd want a belt feed for the rifle, changing mags on the roof would be a pain.

Don't laugh ! when i was working at a chain and transmission job , we were called out to a guys house (Chicago area ) . He wanted roller skate wheels so he could easily turn a turret on top of his house . we sold him 1000 roller skate wheels . when the deal was done and paid for we called the police as he had (EST.) more than 5 hundred guns loaded and sitting within easy reach everywhere we saw . Scary ! Metal shutters on all windows with gun slots cut in them .
